Use ffmpeg to analyze incoming streams

  • Stream configuration & metadata
    • embedded streams, codecs, resolutions, channels, framerates
    • bitrates, gop
  • Content analysis
    • EBU R128 with least possible latency - stream via Websocket?
    • frame pacing? maybe it is somehow possible to inspect actual delivery of frames in stream, and deduce network jitter from that to warn about shitty network
